Founded in 1991 by Mara Doljak, M.Pharm, Aromara emerged during a challenging era. From its very beginnings, the company has been a pioneer in the field, dedicated to establishing the high standards of essential oils and providing extensive aromatherapy education.

Aromara develops innovative aromatherapy solutions and offers private label manufacturing for international partners. In 2015, Mara Doljak presented the brand and its flagship product GYNO PRO, at the prestigious Phyt'Arom scientific symposium in  Grasse, France - the historic cradle of aromatherapy.

ADVOCATING FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH

Mrs. Doljak is a passionate advocate for vaginal health awareness. With WHO statistics showing that approximately 500 million women suffer from vaginal infections annually, GYNO PRO was developed as an effective, natural and accessible solution.

Mrs. Doljak continues to share her expertise at prestigious international scientific conferences, including: 

• Plovdiv, Bulgaria (2nd International Conference on Natural Products Utilization)
• Amsterdam, Netherlands (International Traditional Medicine Conference)
• San Francisco, USA (8th Aromatherapy Conference, hosted by the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy).

FOSTERING INDUSTRY STANDARDS

In 2017, Aromara organized a specialized seminar titled 'A to Z: Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Compliance in Aromatherapy'. This event brought together leading experts from Croatia and across the region to discuss the legal and technical requirements for bringing aromatherapy products to market.
